Foundation+ is an app built by Foundation High Performance Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). It helps athletes reflect on how they train and compete. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Foundation+ is currently in a small, invite-only beta for people aged 18 and over.
What we collect
Your email address and first name, so you can sign in and we can greet you.
What you write in the app: your reflections, answers and notes.
Voice recordings, if you choose to speak instead of type. We use them only to turn your words into text.
Basic usage information, such as which features you used and when. We never use the content of your entries for this.
Crash and usage data from Apple's TestFlight, which Apple collects automatically for beta apps.
We don't collect payment details, contacts, location or photos.
How we use it
To run the app: sign you in, save your entries and show them back to you.
To group your own words into patterns in "Your picture".
To choose a short piece of Michael Hooper's written advice that fits what you've written.
To improve Foundation+. During the beta, our small team may read entries to understand how the app is working and what to improve.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted services to run Foundation+. They only receive what they need to do their job.
Supabase: stores your account and entries.
Anthropic: an AI service that processes the text of your entries to group your words and choose advice.
OpenAI: an AI service that turns voice recordings into text.
Vercel: hosts the app.
Apple: distributes the beta app through TestFlight.
Some of these services store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your information while you're part of the beta. You can ask us to delete your account and everything you've written at any time by emailing support@foundationhighperformance.com, and we'll do it within 30 days.
Keeping it safe
Your entries are private to your account. Access to our systems is limited to our team and protected with two-factor sign-in.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing [support@foundationhighperformance.com]. If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us first. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and let beta testers know.
